The United States President—Donald J Trump has gifted a cricket bat to Prime Minister Imran Khan along with a picture of President Eisenhower during PM Khan’s visit to the White House on Monday.
The visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan has been a great success for building and strengthening the relations between the two nations as the cricketer-turned-politician got tremendous respect from President Trump who gifted him a cricket bat and a picture of President Eisenhower.
It is pertinent to mention that Eisenhower was the only US President to have witnessed a Test Match in Pakistan.
In the opening remarks, President Trump has also addressed Imran Khan as a great athlete and as the most famous Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Trump has displayed confidence in the leadership of PM Khan as he mentioned on a point that a lot many things are happening for the United States and he thinks a lot of great things are going to happen in Pakistan too under the leadership of Imran Khan.
PM of Pakistan has also taken with him a unique gift for the US President. The gift presented to Trump by PM Khan is a portrait of the US President drawn on a vase made of camel skin which as per the artist is one of the oldest crafts in Multan.
