ML-N leader and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has written a letter to speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser at which he said that production orders of all arrested and imprisoned members should be issued.
Abbasi in written letter to speaker stressed upon issuance of production orders of all arrested National Assembly members. He said Speaker Asad Qaiser is responsible for making sure attendance of members.
Democracy becomes strong with actions not with words, he said.
He said speaker office has failed in issuance of production orders of detained members.
I stressed several times for the issuance of production orders but my attempts made no avail, Abbasi said.
Former PM said that he had received his production orders twice after National Assembly sessions.
He said as custodian of NA, speaker steps themselves should speak.
I will not come in NA despite issuance of my production orders, he added.
He said he has also sent letter to speaker office but received no reply.
He said he will not go to NA till issuance of production orders of all detained members.
