Police registered a case against a waiter who tried to assault sexually a woman in a restaurant located in ‘Do Darya’ here on Saturday.
According to police , two days ago one Muzaffar along with his female friend went to restaurant for dining. In the meantime Mehwish went to lady bathroom . In the meantime a drunk waiter Zia-ud-din jumped the wall and attempted to subject the woman to sexual assault.
The woman raised hue and cry and she contacted police.
Station House Officer Ghazala Parveen said that police have registered a case against suspect Ziauddin but the perpetrator waiter made escape from scene. Police are searching for him.
