Jahangir Tareen withdraws his appeal plea against LHC decision, Tax authorities

Jahangir Tareen has withdrawn its appeal plea filed by him in Supreme Court (SC) against the decision of Lahore High Court and tax authorities.
Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had imposed tax to the tune of over Rs 199 million on Jahangir Tareen.
Tax tribunal had set aside the order pertaining to inland revenue penalty. Lahore High Court while terming tribunal decision unclear had nullified it. Jahangir Tareen had challenged this decision in SC.
The petitioner has withdrawn his appeal plea.
