Interim bail extended till March 22 in Rana Sanaullah’s disproportionate assets case
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended interim bail till March 22 in the case of PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah’s assets in excess of his income. A two-member bench of Lahore Release Court comprising Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Gharal conducted the hearing. Rana Sanaullah appeared before the court. Rana Sanaullah’s lawyers Amjad Pervez and Azam Nazir Tarar could not appear as they were in Islamabad. Due to non-appearance of lawyers, the court extended the interim bail of Rana Sanaullah without any action till March 22. After the hearing, Sanaullah while talking to media said that yesterday the Prime Minister was talking about open ballot, noise of burglary and corruption. The perpetrators are now being caught, they themselves commit corruption and then make noise of corruption, their utopia and revenge is known to the entire nation. He said that Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has rejected the government’s offer, pressure should be exerted to break the majority vote. Which has been strongly condemned
