Government decides to file reference against CEC Sardar Raza in SJC

Government has decided to file reference against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sardar Raza.
Sardar Raza had not administered oath to members of Election Commission newly appointed by the government.
According to media report legal consultation has been completed for filing reference against Sardar Raza in Supreme Judicial Council (SJC).
As per government stance Sardar Raza had refused to administer oath to election commission members from Sindh and Balochistan. Non administering oath to the members of election commission nominated by the government is breach of the constitution;. Sardar Raza remains no more suitable for the slot of chief election commissioner following defiance of the constitution by him.
Through the government reference supreme judicial council will be prayed to remove Sardar Raza from his slot.
