Women parliamentarians play active role in legislations: Speaker NA

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says the parliament has enacted important legislations for ensuring rights to women during the last two and a half years.
Addressing an event in connection with International Women’s Day at Parliament House in Islamabad on Monday, he said women parliamentarians have played an active role in legislations.
The Speaker said several steps have been taken at the government level for the rights of the marginalized sections of the society.
He said a letter will be written to the Health Ministry to provide COVID-19 vaccine to the special persons on priority basis.
