Three killed, 15 injured in blast at Maskan Chowrangi

At least three people were killed and 15 others injured in a massive explosion in the upper portion of a multistorey building located at Maskan Chowrangi in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Rescue, police and Rangers teams are at the scene. The area is being cordoned off and the bomb disposal squad has been summoned. The police believe, however, it was a gas or cylinder explosion but have summoned the BDS as a precautionary measure as the sound of the explosion was very loud.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the incident and directed the Karachi commissioner to submit a detailed report in this regard.
