Sindh government to produce energy through Karachi’s waste

Sindh government has prepared a mega plan for Karachi. The plan would resolve power and squalor issues in Karachi. According to details, Sindh government plans to generate power through Karachi’s waste.
Sindh’s minister for energy Imtiaz Sheikh said that this project is eco-friendly. Talking to media Imtiaz said that this project’s feasibility report will be presented to CM Sindh within next two weeks.
Imtiaz further said that 8000 – 10000 tons of waste is being produced in Karachi on daily basis which can produce upto 200MW of electricity.
