The Member National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that “Rs1,100 billion Development Package will become milestone for Karachi while the “historic” Rs1,100bn Karachi development package will cater to the city’s diverse problems ranging from water supply, to transport and solid waste management.
Appreciating and encouraging Prime Minister Imran Khan’s personal interest for the development of Karachi and wellbeing of citizens, Nusrat Wahid revealed that PM made an announcement of the Karachi Transformation Committee to monitor the projects and to control corruption during 18 mega-projects which clearly indicates his grave concerns over ongoing system.
PTI’s MNAs and MPAs those elected for m Karachi have always been pointing out the issues of city and keep close relations with PM that’s why the above package announced on Saturday.
PTI will not leave the people of Sindh & Karachi alone in this hour of crisis. As per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, we stand with the people of Sindh in this difficult time particularly after heavy rains hence, the matters regarding damage by floods and relief activities for affectees highlighted by businessmen, small and big merchants and other affected people came under discussion on federal as well as provincial level and a comprehensive plan of sewerage and pumping out rainy water form city has already been finalized, she concluded.
