President to address joint session of the parliament today (Friday)

President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi will address joint session of the parliament today (Friday).
All arrangements have been finalized in this regard and invitation letters have also been posted to all guests.

According to National Assembly secretariat President will address both houses floors of the parliament at 5 pm in the evening on Friday.
From the address of president second parliamentary year of present National Assembly will also be started.

NA secretariat has posted the invitation letters to the heads of constitutional institutions, heads of all three armed forces of Pakistan, ambassadors and other important personalities.

Related to security arrangements all members’ parliament and federal ministers have been directed to not bring anyone with them.
Guards of federal minister will be allowed to enter in the limits of parliament.
Strict checking will be done of vehicles of guests including member parliaments.
Parking has also been reserved for honorable guests, member parliament and for staff.
