PM summons CCI meeting on Jan 27
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has summoned meeting of Council for Common Interests (CCI) on January 27 at PM House. PM and all the four chief ministers will attend the meeting. A 44-point agenda of the meeting has been issued.
The meeting will accord approval to issuance of notification on population census results and amendment in OGRA ordinance.
Meeting will deliberate over establishment of permanent secretariat of CCI, summary for importing LNG, imposition of levy on crude oil and natural gas under petroleum policy-2012, funding for health and population welfare program and policies for harmonizing Pakistan Standard quality and control authority and provincial food authorities and enforcement mechanism.
The meeting will review implementation of previous decisions of CCI, implementation of article 172 (3) and 158 of the constitution.
NEPRA annual report for the year 2018-19 will also be presented in the meeting.
