Karachi: DSP snatches mobile phone from private channel reporter
In Karachi, DSP Traffic Korangi Kazwe snatched a mobile phone from Rehan Khan Chishti, a crime reporter of a private TV channel.
While checking the trucks on Korangi Causeway, the traffic DSP lost his temper.
DSP Traffic along with his personnel were engaged in challan of trucks on Korangi Causeway. Neither Traffic SO nor Traffic Police personnel were present on the occasion.
DSP Traffic lost his temper after the journalist made a video. He snatched his mobile phone in response to the greeting from the journalist.
The DSP asked the journalist why he made the video without my permission. Are we stealing here?
The reporter replied that when we said that you are stealing here, we are exposing the good deeds of the police, we do not need your permission under the Right to Information Act, you should fulfill your responsibility. Let us do our job.
On this occasion, the police officer reprimanded and pushed the journalist while the journalist continued to insist on performing his duties.
The journalist asked the DSP to return my mobile phone.
Despite the snatching of the mobile phone, the whole incident was recorded in it.
