IHC summons secretary health in DRAP CEO Appointment case
Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned secretary health in the case of appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP).
The court has directed secretary health to appear on March 10 besides directing the authorized officer of cabinet division to appear.
The cabinet division authorized officer who has to appear in the court should not below the rank of additional secretary. The reasons be told as to why the CEO of DRAP has not been appointed so far. The court be informed as to why the final decision about the services of Akhtar Hussain has not been taken so far. The federal government has not implemented DRAP 33rd meeting recommendations so far.
