Government to install 250 security cameras in Minister Colony

Following theft of important files from the house of NAB chairman, the government has decided to install 250 security cameras in Minister Colony, sources said on Monday. According to details, the decision has been taken after theft of some important documents from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal’s house. Electric heaters will also be installed to make identification of visitors and vehicles in the colony.
In addition, 200 latest search equipments will also be installed to avoid any further theft. Although, unidentified thieves had stolen cable wire worth hundreds of thousands from the colony earlier but the theft of important documents from the NAB chairman’s house has created a sense of concern among the officials responsible for the safety and security of the Minister Colony. The sources said that as many as Rs50 million would be spent on the project.
