Army should not be dragged into politics: DG ISPR

Army has once again clarified that army has nothing to do with the politics and army should not be dragged into the politics.
This was said by DG ISPR while talking to a private TV channel here Monday.
He held “ we had clarified it in the previous press conference that armed forces has nothing to do with the politics. Pakistan army should not be dragged into politics. We are neither in back door contacts with any one nor are we doing so. Such speculations about army should not be believed. Now such speculations should be stopped. Whosoever are giving such statements should make public evidences if they have. It is inappropriate to level allegations without research
He held security is the biggest obligation which we are discharging in befitting manner.
He said India is playing negative role in the region. India tried to harm Pakistan prestige .But it has failed in all conspiracies and negative plans. On the other hand Pakistan presented dossier to UN on Indian conspiracies. .
Talking about the revelations made by EU DisinfoLab, Major General Babar Iftikhar said that Pakistan has always tried to expose the nefarious plans of India.
He underlined Pakistan took the best steps to deal with Corona virus while China has donated corona virus vaccine to Pakistan armed forces. We are grateful to Chinese leadership over this donation of coronavirus vaccines.
He remarked “ our real heroes are frontline workers. In the first phase the vaccine donated by China will be administered to frontline health workers. Corona had become problem for Pakistan like all other world countries.
He said Ali Sadpara is a national hero and asset. We pray for the safety of all the mountaineers who went missing during their K2 climb, he added.
Major General Babar Iftikhar went on to say that all the measures are being taken to find Ali Sadpara and his companions. Pakistan army is busy in fulfilling its duty to ensure the security and protection of the motherland, he said.
