Federal government doing more than its capacity, Says Asad Umar

Federal minister for planning and development works Asad Umar has said that Federal government is doing more than its capacities for Karachi.
Addressing a ceremony at Governor House Karachi, Asad said that Karachi runs the whole country while its administrators even don’t have fire engines.
Further the Minister said that Karachi generates 40% of the direct national taxes while Sindh’s more than 90% revenue is also generated from Karachi. This miserable condition of Karachi is disappointing.
Minister urged the provincial government to emphasize on the development of Karachi.
Asad also said that Green line buss project is in its final stages and the busses will soon be handed over to Sindh government. NDMA has started cleansing and renovation of Mehmoodabad Naala. Orangi and other nalaas will also be renovated after the eradication of encroachments.
Asad Umar also briefed the audiences about K4 scheme and Karachi Circular Railway.
